In a New York suburb, far away from Fifth Avenue and Times Square, Ruby Dennis appears every evening as a singer on the stage of his bowling alley. But his world is threatened; speculators want to tear down "Ruby's Palace". Ruby wants to fight for his bowling alley, but how? Credit is being withdrawn; equipment taken away.
